Each artist has a sound. The best ones create a world, and that’s exactly what Thabo Tonick does. There’s a new generation shaping the future of South African house ,and he’s one of its most distinctive producers. With Listen To The Kids, the second single from his forthcoming album, Sun God, Thabo builds on the momentum of Bigger Than Us, venturing further into a space where raw rhythm, atmosphere and experimentation meet.
Entirely instrumental, Listen To The Kids unfolds through rolling grooves and unconventional textures, rewarding listeners who stay with it. Once again, Thabo pushes beyond expectation, creating music that resists easy categorisation while remaining unmistakably his own. As the next chapter in Sun God, the single continues to reveal an artist unafraid to follow instinct over convention, adding to a body of work that is bold, uncompromising and distinctly Thabo Tonick.
