Three versions. Three different stories of the same track.
Buddynice takes “Birds Sing” somewhere deeper, leaning into the atmospheric sound he’s made his own. Brandon Dhludhlu’s vocal stays at the centre, surrounded by spacious electronics, restrained percussion and a darker pulse.
Where the original carries a 3-Step rhythm and subtle bossa swing, and Ed-Ward pushes things more to the floor, Buddynice slows the energy down and lets the space do more of the talking.
The Buddynice Remix arrives as part of the full Birds Sing digital package on Stay True Sounds, bringing together the original, Ed-Ward Remix and Buddynice Remix — three different takes on the same tune.
