Hailing from Mpumalanga, SGVO joined Stay True Sounds at the beginning of his career, first appearing on Stay True Sounds Vol.2 with “Vibrations” in 2019. Since then, he’s built a substantial catalogue with the label, from the deep, stripped-back sounds of February Print and NVMBERS to OVGSREPUBLIC and the Afro-leaning VO’SIEGE EP. Across those releases, SGVO has developed a sound that remains deep and soulful while continually pushing into new territory.
